Welcome to the Second Breakfast Book Club! There’s never a bad time to discuss Tolkien’s books, but I reckon Second Breakfast is as good a time as any. If one of your goals for the new year is to finally read (or re-read) The Silmarillion, hopefully this series can help!

The Silmarillion series will hopefully help break down Tolkien’s writings and simplify each chapter to make it a bit more digestible. My goal is really just to whet your appetite and make you want to go read The Silmarillion for yourself – I promise, it really is worth it!

• Some personal thoughts
• 10 (or 20 for longer chapters) Tolkien tidbits – about the story, and/or some cool things I’ve discovered about the writing of it
